BriAnna Dewar is a Soprano that can sing a vast range of genres from opera, musical theater, jazz, and much more. BriAnna began voice lessons at the age of 14 at NOCCA, the New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts. She graduated from Interlochen Arts Academy, where she studied with Mr. Jeffrey Norris. During that time she won first place in the High School division of The Barry Alexander International Vocal Competition, as well as a NFAA YoungARTS finalist, and First Place in the Slidell’s Got Talent Competition.She made it to the finalist waiting for America’s Got Talent.She has had a lot of opportunities to perform many roles such as Maybel in the Pirates of Penzance and The first lady in Die Zauberflote. Opera chorus in Opera in the Heights, Utah Lyric Summer Program… She began her college career at Eastman School of Music. She is continuing her college career at the University of Houston where she is studying with Dr. Lynda Mcknight. Her passion and love for music has made her the person that she is today!
