Let your inner star shine in our Vocals for Musical Theater for ages 8-11! This class is an adventure where singing meets acting in the most fun ways. You'll belt out your favorite show tunes, learn how to add dramatic flair to your performances, and explore the magic of storytelling through song. This class will guide you through exciting vocal exercises and creative games that build confidence and technique while having a blast. Whether you're dreaming of Broadway or just love to sing and act, this class is your ticket to a world of musical wonder and joy.

BriAnna Dewar

BriAnna Dewar is a Soprano that can sing a vast range of genres from opera, musical theater, jazz, and much more. BriAnna began voice lessons at the age of 14 at NOCCA, the New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts. She graduated from Interlochen Arts Academy, where she studied with Mr. Jeffrey Norris. During that time she won first place in the High School division of The Barry Alexander International Vocal Competition, as well as a NFAA YoungARTS finalist, and First Place in the Slidell’s Got Talent Competition.She made it to the finalist waiting for America’s Got Talent.She has had a lot of opportunities to perform many roles such as Maybel in the Pirates of Penzance and The first lady in Die Zauberflote. Opera chorus in Opera in the Heights, Utah Lyric Summer Program… She began her college career at Eastman School of Music. She is continuing her college career at the University of Houston where she is studying with Dr. Lynda Mcknight. Her passion and love for music has made her the person that she is today! One of her new endeavors is to empower young people with the power of music. “I believe that all children can experience the most success with a young musical background. A lot of times singers get a bad reputation of being the poorest musicians. Start learning music now,It has the potential to keep you focused. "The world is competitive; let's get a head start!”
