Description

Dive into the world of theatrical hair design in this hands-on class inspired by Finding Nemo! Students will learn to create character looks from the show while also exploring the fundamentals of theatrical hair design. Hair design plays a crucial role in storytelling, and in this class, students will develop skills ranging from basic styling techniques to more advanced methods. With plenty of hands-on learning, students will practice and showcase their creativity in designing unique looks. We can’t wait to see what they create!

I am a professional hairdresser and have been doing hair for 18 years. I have worked on the past 7 shows with CYT. Over the past two years I have developed a love for theater and am so excited to teach a class this session. I love working with hair and can’t wait to share my knowledge with a younger generation. In this class you will learn hair terminology, hair care, basic bun and updo, prepping hair for a wig cap and much more.I am so excited to meet and teach all of you!!
