Description

This teen vocals class is designed to help students discover and develop their voices. Participants will learn a variety of vocal techniques and exercises that help them demonstrate correct singing style and create longevity for their voices. Techniques such as pitch, enunciation, breathing, vowel placement, tone, and blending are all things that will be focused on within this class. Come be a part of our spectacular experience and show off what you’ve learned in a showcase for all to see.

Paul Wolf

Paul Wolf, tenor, is an Assistant Professor of Voice at McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Originally from Bucks County, Pennsylvania, he completed his Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Colorado, his Master of Music from the University of Alabama, and his Bachelor of Arts at Virginia Tech. As a performer of Opera and Musical Theater, Dr. Wolf’s past engagements include performances with Spokane Symphony, Eklund Opera, Opera Birmingham, Univ. of Alabama Opera Theatre, Charlottesville Opera, Seagle Festival, and Musiktheater Bavaria. He is a former Seagle Festival Fall Artist, and Young Artist Apprentice with both Charlottesville Opera and Opera Roanoke. Dr. Wolf was the 2019 NFMC Young Artist Man’s Voice Winner of their 60th Biennial Competition in Jacksonville, Florida.
