Description

Does your performer need a dance class? The fundamentals of movement and various dance styles are found in musical theater dance, making this class necessary for any aspiring dancer or actor. Hip Hop dance was inspired by Jazz movements. This dance style features rythmic and controlled movements with energetic choreography. In addition, most musicals feature a dance ensemble that is tasked with telling part of the story through dance. This class will engage in the creation of an explosive and fun routine set to a mashup of music from the new Disney movie "Rise of Red".

Amanda Yellott is a passionate performer who finds joy and healing between mind and body through all types of movement. Having a background in studio dance since the age of 12, and a deep compassion for children, especially those struggling with emotional expression and trauma, Amanda feels called to provide explanations and insights to help lead and guide others to internal and external growth through movement.
