Description

Join us for CYT Encore: Character Journey! In this class, students will explore the fundamentals of acting and character development by recreating beloved characters from CYT’s performance catalog. This "encore" showcase will highlight iconic roles and bring them to life once again! Designed for both new and seasoned actors, this class will provide essential acting techniques while also challenging experienced performers to deepen their skills. We’ll also dive into the world of props, costume design, and more, adding extra layers to the character-building process.

Jessica Menard

Jessica Menard is the Managing Director of CYT Lake Charles and has been with the organization since it opened its doors, serving in various roles. Involved in the world of theatre with her children since 2013, she is excited to bring her passion into the classroom. Jessica is married and a proud mother of three, with a wonderful husband who has become the honorary assistant for anything CYT needs. She looks forward to inspiring the next generation of performers through this winter's acting class for kids!
