"Inspire CYT Lake Charles"

Last year, thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters, CYT Lake Charles raised $14,100! This allowed us to license the amazing shows in our 2024-25 season and move into a much-needed rental storage space. Now, we have dedicated room for our costumes, props, and sets—a huge step in keeping CYT thriving and continuing to bring quality theatre to our community!

This year, our HYPE students are hosting a groovy 70s-style Giving Tuesday telethon to raise funds for:
8 new microphones
6 rolling dance mirrors
These tools are essential for educational theatre, helping students perfect their performances and build their confidence. We’re committed to ensuring every CYT student has what they need to pursue their passions and shine on stage!

If I could give more, I would. The experience provided by CYT is invaluable to the kids involved. And the opportunity for more kids to wear a mic-- you can't imagine the excitement they show knowing their voice will be heard! The mirrors will also allow the kids to develop greater awareness and control of their bodies and facial expressions while dancing and acting. This will be a great investment!
